A significant milestone for Rasi Seeds and Indian cotton agriculture!

On the occasion of the 98th Foundation Day of the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR), celebrated under the inspiring theme "Reimagining Agriculture for Viksit Bharat 2047," Rasi Seeds is proud to announce that our MD, Mr Rajendran Ramasami, unveiled the signing of an MoU with ICAR–Sugarcane Breeding Institute (ICAR-SBI) for licensing a novel crystal toxin gene technology to combat Bollgard II-resistant Pink Bollworm (PBW).

Together, this collaboration reflects Rasi Seeds’ commitment as the leading Indian seed company delivering research-driven, value-based solutions for Indian cotton farmers. By advancing a new generation of domestically discovered technologies, we are enabling more resilient cotton production, sustainable pest management, and a stronger, self-reliant future for India’s cotton industry.
